| Synopsis | Tony is a teenager who spends his time cramming for exams, testing his latest inventions, thrill-seeking... and saving the world. He has to reconcile his normal teenage desires with the staggering responsibility that comes with his revolutionary invention: a hi-tech flight armour, through which the world knows him as Iron Man. After the sudden death of his father, Howard, Tony's armour becomes his refuge, his amusement park, his alter ego. As soon as he puts it on his complicated private life disappears and is replaced by a much more simple reality; an adversary to fight, people to save, good versus evil. As a result he has gotten used to jumping in his armour and flying off, as a way to forget his worries. But, in the world of adults, which he is slowly becoming a part of, nothing is black and white. Reality quickly catches up with him. His private life spills into his life as a super hero and he has to face complicated choices and monumental dilemmas. |
